When you first started, you should ALWAYS keep the gold you earned from the game and quest. Focus on unlocking all the slot first.
1st slot: free
2nd slot: 250 gold
3rd slot: 1000 gold
4th slot: 5000 gold
5th slot: VIP

Box Guide
Every Match Reward that you receive can be placed into the slot for free with a timer.

1) Crate (3 hours): 5+ Common Minis and 50 Gold (8 Minis Max)


2) Box (8 hours): 25+ Common and 8+ Rare Minis (52 Minis Max)


3) Rare Box (8 hours): 50 Rare Minis


4) Dominion Box (12 hours) : 50+ Common, 12+ Rare and 1+ Epic Minis (97 Minis Max)


5) Republic Box (12 hours): 50+ Common, 12+ Rare and 1+ Epic Minis (97 Minis Max)


6)Epic Box (18 hours): 6 Epic Minis


7) Safe Box (12 hours) : 100+ Common, 30+ Rare and 3+ Epic Minis (205 Minis Max)


8)Legendary Box (24 hours): 2 Legendary Minis


9) Mega Safe Box (24 hours) : 450+ Common, 150+ Rare and 15+ Epic Minis (975 Minis Max)
